Because of exposed tattoos and a mouthful of sea people' accent, Ding Renting, a Haikou boy , is easily to be regarded as a gangster, making people stay away from him at first sight. However, such an image doesn't stop him flipping Taisi in an artistic way. He shapes Taisi an International Painting Village and makes this small place to be seen on the world map. Ding Rentong is undoubtedly the promoter for all of this. 

海口囝仔丁仁桐，以一口海口腔、裸露的刺青和濃厚的江湖味，讓人對他的第一印象可能敬而遠之。然而，這樣的形象並未阻礙他用藝術翻轉台西，並將這個小地方推上世界地圖。他就是丁仁桐，海口之子，也是台西國際彩繪村的推手。

During his junior high school days, Ding Rentong took Professor Xie Rongyuan's art class in Taisi . It was that time when Ding Rentong won the Excellence Award at the World Children's Art Exhibition in Japan. Since then he formed an indissoluble bond with painting. After graduation, he was admitted to Fuxin Art Department, specializing in ink painting. During the three years of studying in Fuxin Art Department, Ding Rentong participated in a number of art exhibition competitions. Among them, his oil painting came to the first place in Yunlin Culture & Art Awas as well as the Yunlin Culture & Art Contrubution Award. Meanwhile, he also held personal creation exhibitions in various places.

丁仁桐國中時期，參加了謝榮源教授在台西國中開辦的美術班。首次參賽即在日本世界兒童畫展中獲得佳作獎，從此與繪畫結下不解之緣。畢業後考上復興美工，專長水墨畫，參與多項美展比賽，曾獲雲林文化藝術獎油畫類第一名、雲林文化藝術獎貢獻獎，也在各地區辦過個人創作展。

Ding Rentong returned to Taisi in 1999 and started to participate in the overall construction of the community, caring for his hometown. It wan not until 2007 that Ding Rentong ushered a turning point of his life. After meeting international volunteers in Hong Kong, he brought the idea back to Taisi and began to attract international artists. After several years of painting activities, Taisi gradually gained the reputation of an international painting village, and local residents began to know and respect the painter Ding Rentong.

1999年回到台西後，參與社區總體營造關心家鄉，但真正的轉捩點出現在2007年。在香港見識到國際志工後，他將這一理念帶回台西，並開始吸引國際藝術家前來參與。經過數年的彩繪活動，台西逐漸獲得國際彩繪村的美譽，當地居民也開始認識並尊敬丁仁桐這位畫家。

Ding Rentong has won the Yunlin County Council "Speaker's Cup" calligraphy and French painting competition, the third place in the craft category of the Yunlin County Local Art Exhibition，and the first prize of watercolor oil painting in the Cultural and Art Festival. He was elected as a representative of good people and good deeds. However, these honors are not the focus of his pursuit. He is more concerned with enriching the cultural connotation of Taiwan opera. In the past 20 years, Ding Rentong has witnessed the changes of Yunlin and has been constantly changing Taisi.

丁仁桐曾獲得多項榮譽，包括雲林縣議會「議長盃」書法國畫比賽的佳作，以及雲林縣地方美展工藝類第3名和文化藝術獎水彩油畫首獎，並當選為好人好事代表。然而，這些榮譽並非他所追求的重點，他更關心的是豐富台西的文化內涵。在這20年間，丁仁桐見證了雲林的變遷，他也在不斷地改變著台西。
