In the 102nd year of the Republic of China (2013), Ding Hongyi, a native Taisi, opened the Facebook group "Love Rice Bank" and successfully connected kind-hearted people from all over the world to donate rice and raise for funeral arrangement as well as medical expenses . So far, he has raised more than 200,000 kilograms of white rice, helping countless needy families across Taiwan.
台西之子-丁弘毅在民國102年（2013）成立臉書社團「愛心待用米銀行」，成功串聯起來自各地的愛心人士，號召善心人士捐助白米，募集喪葬費、醫療費，使無數家庭受益。他至今已募集超過20萬公斤的白米，惠及全台無數困苦家庭。
