"The Eternal Sea" is a large-scale art project that contains local cultural ele-ments designed by Wu Rongfeng, an artist from the Taisi Art Association, and co-operated with teachers and students from Taisi Junior High School, and local art cultural figures, and community residents.  

「永恆之海」是一個結合在地文化元素的大型藝術計畫，由台西藝術協會的藝術家吳榮豐設計，並與台西國中師生、地方藝文人士及社區居民共同合作。

The Inspiration of the Oyster Shell Art is come from the life of Taisi fishing village and the local natural scene.The mural reflects the rhythm of natural life in Taisi, and at the same time symbolizes the fluctuation of the sea, showing the improvement and beauty of the local human environment.  

壁畫靈感來自漁村生活和當地自然景象，反映了台西地區自然生命的律動，同時象徵著海墘的波動，展示了在地人文環境的提升與優美。創作素材包括各式貝殼、馬賽克、木頭、琉璃、玻璃瓶、磚瓦、頁岩和彩色石等，這些材料經過特殊處理和染色，以增強作品的耐久性和色彩表現力。

The materials include shells, mosaics, wood, glass, glass bottles, bricks, shale and colored stones, which are specially treated and dyed to enhance the durability and color expres-sion of the work.  

完美表現台西的風景特色。壁畫內容豐富多彩，描繪了台西的代表性景觀，如海螺地標、漁村婦女、文蛤、招潮蟹、風車、漁塭、漁網、夕陽及沿海生態等。特別值得一提的是，壁畫中還描繪了兩個太陽，分別位於天空和海面，強調台西夕照的美麗。

It perfectly expresses the scenery characteristics of Taisi. The murals are rich of color depicting the representative landscapes of Taisi, such as conch land-marks, fishing village women, clams, fiddler crabs, windmills, fishing farms, fishing nets, sunsets, and coastal ecology. In particular, the mural also depicts two suns, one in the sky and one on the sea, emphasizing the beauty of the sunset in Taisi. "Eternal Sea" is not only an artistic creation, but also a cultural project to unite the community and show the unique customs of Taisi. 

「永恆之海」不僅是一項藝術創作，更是一項凝聚社區力量和展現台西獨特風情的文化工程，通過這幅壁畫，人們可以更好地了解和欣賞台西的美麗與人文魅力。
