To transform the traditional noodle making, Zhuang Bier, the second generation of noodle merchant in the 105th year of the Republic of China (2016), established "Mai Ge Mian" to accord with the homonym of "selling a face" in order to deepen customers' impression. Through improving the quality of noodles, such as making colorful noodles with Yunlin agricultural products, Zhuang Bier believes the new production methods can help eliminate negative label so as to attract patronage from all over the world. Zhuang Bier said that in order to make the noodle production more emotional and meaningful, she has Yunlin agricultural products fused into the noodles, such as the colored noodles from different vegetables and fruits planted by kind farmers, to protect consumers' health.The success of Mai Ge Mian has also inspired the transformation of the Mailiao industry, urging more and more enterprises to cooperate with local companies, which is exciting for the local residents.  

麵二代莊比爾於民國105(2016)年成立「麥個麵子」,以「賣個面子」的諧音加深顧客印象,堅持轉型傳統製麵,打破負面標籤,提高麵條品質,並以雲林農產品製作彩色麵,吸引各地麵店光顧。莊比爾表示,希望讓麵條更有感情、更有意義,並將雲林農產品融入麵中,彩色麵則來自友善耕作農民的不同蔬果,保障消費者健康。麥個麵子的成功也激勵了麥寮產業轉型,越來越多產業與在地連結,令當地感到振奮。
