Located near the Mailiao Vegetable Market, the "Yeung Ka Twer Rice Cake" has been in business for more than 50 years and has been passed down to the third generation. Although the proprietress who starts working at half past two in the morning is in her eighties, she insists on maintaining quality and taste. This shop is said to be the oldest rice cake shop in Mailiao and is famous for its handmade traditional rice cakes. Served with salty and sweet meat sauce, plump and moist rice, and a bowl of meat soup, it has become one of the delicacies in many Mailiao memories and will continue to accompany them into the next era. 

位於麥寮菜市場附近的「楊家筒仔米糕」，已經經營超過五十年，傳承至第三代。每天清晨兩點半就開始準備的老闆娘已年屆八旬，堅持維持品質和口味。這家店據說是麥寮第一家米糕老店，他們以手工製作的傳統米糕聞名，搭配鹹甜的肉醬，飽滿濕潤的米飯，再加上一碗肉羹湯，成為許多麥寮人回憶中的美味之一，繼續陪伴著他們進入下一個時代。
